Despite the lockdown and several attempts, new cases of corona infection in Maharashtra are continuously increasing. A record 778 new cases have been reported in the state on Thursday, which is the highest number of cases reported in a day. Of these, the maximum number of 522 cases came from Mumbai, which is the highest number of cases to come from here in a day. According to state health department officials, the total number of Kovid-19 infected in the state has subsequently increased to 6,427.
